Welcome to Rosie Loves Art!
Welcome to Rosie Loves Art!
As an artist, I am rejuvenating a sleeping talent. After years of modest artistic experimentation, I now desire to cultivate a new field of dreams. I enjoy a variety of mediums, including impasto acrylics, pastels, charcoal, pen & inks, watercolors, calligraphy, tole painting, pyrography, digital and enhanced photography. I love taking our photographs and combining them with a number of art mediums to produce a unique multi-media piece. I have also just started a new series of 2D and 3D paintings. Check out the gallery for original paintings, drawings and photo embellishments.
As a child and youth, my family encouraged my art interests; my parents frequently published my illustrations, articles and poems in the family-owned newspaper. After high school, I graduated from Texas State Technical College, Waco, Texas, with an Associate in Applied Arts Degree in Commercial Art & Advertising. I have had wonderful support from family, and opportunity through Art Guild memberships to grow and be encouraged by fellow artists. I have been a member of the Bastrop Fine Arts Guild, Austin Pastel Society, the Lago Vista Art Association, and currently the
Williamson County Art Guild, Georgetown, TX, and the Taylor Art Guild, Taylor TX.
It has been an incredible journey with plans to venture more! Come join me!
